Context

Masonite sell a wide range of top quality doors under the Solidor brand. Their products are stocked nationwide and their website has a strong lead generation focus; prospective buyers can design their own door using a simple tool to get the look for their home. Recipe Media provides a wide range of advertising and media services to the client.


Services and solutions

The client had previous experience in broadcast TV advertising. We reviewed prior campaigns, changed the channel line-up and included lifestyle-targeted VOD in the mix. Additionally, our ad production team created a new advert to combine the look and feel of the brand with a calls-to-action to drive instant response. We tested various linear TV channels and VOD approaches so we could understand the website lead generation impact of different approaches.


Results

Broadcast TV and lifestyle-targeted VOD provided trackable instant results and started to build up awareness for retail sales. Lead generation volumes increased over 33% during the campaign. Linear TV outperformed VOD significantly for web uplift metrics. We continue to test refine and grow.
